Happy 11 Month Birthday!

These pictures were all taken today. It's hard to believe that our baby is eleven months old. He is doing really well. He goes to sleep much easier... though he wakes up at about 5:45am but he sleeps through the night waking up for one feeding. He nurses 3 times a day and we are just waiting a little bit longer to cut him down to 2 feedings.
This was David's second time having watermelon, though the first time he only had a little piece. He gave him a whole slice and it was so cute to see him gulp it down... he just loves it!
He found this chair at great-grandma and great-grandpa's house and decided that it was just his size. Hard to believe it used to be Grammy's chair.
We love our David and are looking forward to celebrating his first Birthday. What an amazing year it has been!

A few MAY pics...

David explored the whole back yard on May 26th. He was jabbering to the neighbours dogs, digging in the dirt, holding onto the hedge and playing with the rope swing. I've said it before but I will say it again... he loves it outside!!!

Two Steps...

This morning David took two sideways steps by himself on his own initiative. He doesn't stand on his own all that often and when he realises he is standing he sits down. But I guess he was distracted enough just playing by himself and he took two steps towards the foot rest after standing on his own. I happened to be watching him from the couch and Grammy saw it too! So exciting!

May first I went to the park with mommy and auntie Mandy.


Auntie made me a daisy crown.
And we all took turns going down the slide. I'm not sure which I like better... climbing the latter or sliding down. I giggled all the way up.

Cameron & David

Cameron and David are getting together every Monday and Wednesday morning for the month of May. In the afternoon we go to our first swimming lessons together.
We have lots of fun together but we like to snatch each others soothers and occasionally we get into a yelling match.

Beep! Beep!

I love to drive my new toy from grammy.
I can walk pretty fast as long as I have something to push.
I am also standing on my own when I feel like it.

On the Scale...

This is Day 4 of David's first flu but he is playing with his toys again and doing much better.
He's lost some weight. On Wenesday he weighed 19 lbs 8 oz.


Here he is a few days before he got sick. He is showing daddy his new trick... pointing! He loves to point to all the pictures of family and friends on our fridge and he also points at fans and lights.

Exploring the Back Yard

Yesterday it was so nice outside that David and I decided to explore the back yard.
We spent half an hour outside and when we went back inside David expressed his want to return outdoors.
He loves taking steps when someone holds his hands and he also likes picking grass and made many attempts to eat gravel.
