She can cry again!

Just wanted to give a quick update on Angeline. She is now 100% better from her cold and her voice returned Tuesday night. She was so happy to hear herself again that she babbled on and on as I was trying to get her to sleep... it was really cute. She had her 9 month check up today and now weighs 15 lbs 2 oz. Her newest thing is sticking out her tongue.

I guess it was ppor timing that Angeline got her voice back Tuesday night because yesterday Jonathan and I went to the hockey game and she cried for 1.5 hours before falling asleep. She is definately mommy's girl right now. But it was really nice to have a night out with Jonathan so thank you Grandma,Grammy, Jared and Katherine for putting up with the screaming.

9 Months Old

Angeline is 9 months old and I can't believe that her 1st Birthday is coming fast. This last month she has switched from an "army" crawl to crawling on her hands and knee's. She goes from sitting to crawling and crawling to sitting and just recently she has started pulling herself up onto and cruising furniture. She's messy when she eats and she's loud (except of coarse when she looses her voice). She waves hi, bye, and night-night.... claps her hands and says mom, dada and hi. She also says Ajah! (sp?) which means "come here" in Punjabi. She is a very loving and animated little girl. We are loving her and looking forward to her first steps and to when her hair is long enough to have a pony tail. Happy 9 month birthday Angel!

Christmasing...

On Saturday we got our Christmas tree. My mom was here for the weekend and we went to Jonathan's works kids Christmas Party. We got to take David skating for the first time (he has been going on Mondays with Grandpa Rob). Angeline wore her pretty Christmas dress from Uncle Ryan (H) and Aunty Nadia. And we celebrated December Birthday at mom and dad's.

Trying to Cry

We noticed on the drive home on Sunday that Angeline had a bit of a cough. Took her to the doctor's on Tuesday to make sure she was okay and her lungs were good and she doesn't have an ear infection... just a bad cold. Here she is this morning with no voice. She is getting better I think... she slept much better last night and her nose isn't as runny.

Happy Birthday Jonathan!

Today is Jonathan's Birthday and he has to work but right now he prefers going to work at the store to staying home because there is much more work to do at our house. Last night we stayed up late painting downstairs so it was nice to get that off to a start but we didn't sleep much even when we did get to bed because Angeline has a cold and was very unsettled through the night. Life continues to be very busy and we are all looking forward to a SLOW January.

Happy Birthday Love, thanks for all your hard work. You are the BEST husband and a pretty good Dad to the kids too.

Sweet Pea is 8 months old!

November 14th was Angeline's 8 month birthday. At 8 months she weighs 14 lbs 14 oz. She is doing well. She can go from sitting to crawling on her own and she waves to us lots. Her wave has come to mean "hi", "bye" or "night-night." I have some pictures of her in a Sweet Pea costume to post along with some other 8 month pics but Jonathan took them off the camera not realizing that I was wanting to blog them (even though I told him this morning!) so I will add them next time... maybe tomorrow.
We just took some family pictures today to send out with our Christmas cards and we got some good ones of us all looking at the camera. The kids are not smiling but it was quite the accomplishment just to get us all looking. (Thank you Jake and Aaron!)
David is talking even more, it seems to have really picked up this last month. He is always saying "pretty cool, huh?"
The renovations continue in our basement. We hope to have the carpet in by December 7th so we are working hard to get everything done that needs to be done before then.... more framing, drywalling, and PAINTING! Plus a little bit of floor leveling... plus Jonathan is on a stretch right now of working 8 days in a row (we are on day 4).
Lots to do before Christmas... definitely a little overwhelmed right now but all is good.
