4 days off

Jonathan had 4 days off last weekend and we got to spend some nice quality family time together. Saturday my Dad and Shelley met us at the PNE where we had a nice day. Sunday we enjoyed a nice morning at the park, had a nice BBQ lunch with some friends and Chinese food for dinner. Monday we got to meet Alexandra (Derek and Debbie's little girl)... she is 3 1/2 months younger then Angeline. We also got to see Andrew's condo and meet his love birds who were very entertaining. Tuesday we relaxed at home and then had some family over for burgers... and Daddy taught David how to ride his bike. That was our weekend in a nutshell.

little piggies...

these little piggies were only 4 days old when we saw them at the PNE... so cute. we all enjoyed watching them and David announced "milky mommy!" as they enjoyed their lunch... so cute!

5 1/2 months

Angline is almost 6 months old. I can't believe it has almost been half a year since she was born. She has definitely kept us busy... and David and the house have kept us busy as well. We are hoping to have the basement reno's completed by Christmas... not sure how realistic that hope is yet but Jonathan will be getting started in September when I am on the Island with the kids. Hope you enjoy these pictures of our "big girl." I weighed her yesterday and she is now 13 pounds 2 ounces and 24 3/4 inches tall.

5 months

On Friday we celebrated Angeline's 5 month birthday. We can hardly believe that she is five months old. We have started feeding her rice cereal (as you can see in the above pictures) and she is very happy to be eatting big girl food. She still wishes she could just jump right into eating pizza like the rest of us. She now weighs 12 lbs 9 ounces and continues to do very well. She will have another check up in September when she gets her 6 month shots.

Shaving already?

Shaving already? They grow up so fast! Sorry... I tried to get the pictures in order but computers don't like me and I don't have time to fight with it. You get the idea anyway.

Growing and Waiting

I hope that everyone is continuing to enjoy summer. I was beginning to think that fall had come and was here to stay our warm summer days seem to have returned in the mean time anyway. Just a few random pictures of the kids. Angeline now fits the beautiful sweater Oma made for Noah. Also a picture of David sleeping in his booster seat... he fell asleep waiting for a cinnamon bun when Jonathan and I attempted to make our first batch last week. They were okay but we needed to let them rise and also we didn't use enough sugar. We will be working on perfecting them in the weeks to come.

Jump'n Spit

this little piggy...

4 1/2 Months

Yes, our little Angel is 4 1/2 months old. Here she is... all 12 pounds of her. I weighed her on Friday and she is 12 lbs 1/2 ounce which puts her at the 10th percentile. She is thriving none the less and has had many milestones in the last week. She now rolls from her tummy to her back so she can really get around... she just keeps rolling and rolling until she gets where she needs to be. Before we know it she is going to be sitting on her own, though that will still take some practice. We are thinking of starting her on rice cereal in two more weeks.
