Happy Halloween

I will be updating with pictures of David in his costume next time I have access to a computer but I took Angeline's pictures early so I wanted to get them up. Have a safe and fun Halloween.

Angie Bear... 7 1/2 months

Angeline is 7 1/2 months old. I just had to give an update while I have the chance. She waved to me for the first time on Wednesday... so cute! She also waved to Grammy and I tried getting her to wave to Jonathan but she waited until yesterday night. She waved to Miriam at Bible Study and to her big brother David of coarse. So you could be next to have a wave hi or bye from our baby girl.

What we've been up too...

You can see from the top picture in this post that we have been using child labour for our basement renovations. Actually David's favorite thing right now is helping Daddy downstairs. We've been doing the final preparations before drywalling next week (and by "we" I mean Jonathan and Bob). Life is really busy right now plus we have been semi-isolated because of the swine flu going around. At this point no one in our family is getting immunized.

October 15th part 2

Thank you to everyone who lit a candle in memory of Noah on October 15th. October 15th was also mine and Jonathan's 4 year wedding anniversary. Here is a picture of us just before we went out for dinner to celebrate. It was nice to leave the kids and have a quiet un-rushed meal. I was thinking on our anniversary about what our groomsmen Nathan said during his speech on our wedding day. He said something along the lines of "When you look back on your wedding day may you be able to say that was the day that you loved each other the least." We were certainly in love on our wedding day, I don't think that anyone who was there could deny that, but I must say that everything we have experienced in our first four years of marriage has expanded that love a great deal. Everyday in a marriage you have one choice to make... are you going to grow closer together or further apart?

October 15th

National Pregnancy and Infant loss Remembrance Day

In the United States and Canada October 15th has been recognised as National Pregnancy and Infant loss Remembrance Day. This day allows family and friends, through a variety of remembrance ceremonies, to honour their babies who died. Many families will also be lighting candles in rememberance of older children who have died.

There is a candlelight vigil held today at 7pm throughout Canada and the United States.

If you would like to honor Noah in this way please light a candle for him tonight at 7pm or whenever you read this post.

We will be lighting a candle in honor of many... Noah, Anna, Liam, Kimberly, Neil, Dean, Jerry, Kenneth... we light a candle for you and so many others.
