Welcome back Uncle Jared and Aunty Katherine!

Uncle Jared got home last Saturday and we all were very happy to see him. Here he is meeting his niece for the first time. Katherine arrives tonight and I know that she has been waiting to cuddle with Angeline too. We are very glad to have them with us and are looking forward to lots of visits.

Edmund meets Angeline

We had a little Pitts/Barker reunion today before Stevenson's headed for home after a nice visit. I got to meet Edmund in person for the first time, he is a sweetie pie as you can see from the pictures. And Jenn got to meet Angeline. Here are the 4 kids together as well. David and Bronson are 2 months apart and Angeline and Edmund are 3 days apart. Last time Jenn and I got together for a visit she was pregnant with Edmund and I with Angeline but neither one of us knew it yet. I almost feel as though I should be taking another test but it was probably just a coincident. I have adopted a new term similar to being "borderline diabetic" and sometimes I feel that I am "borderline pregnant"... not pregnant but the possibility is there all the time. But don't panic... Jonathan and I are both watching out diets and getting plenty of exercise!

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to all Dads but in particular to my Dad who has always shown me unconditional love, to my father-in-law and step dad who have taken me on as their own and to all our Grandpa's, Great Grandpa and Uncles.

Here is David with his Dad on Tuesday at our last Canuck Place meeting until the fall. The kids released butterflies... and David is quite fond of butterflies so he enjoyed it very much. When his butterfly flew away it landed on the lady who has been taking care of him during our meetings, he always has big hugs for her. We thought it was quite special.

Happy Fathers Day to the Father of my children, Jonathan... who always puts us first on his list and who works very hard so that we can have nice things and eat good food. I would have a very difficult time being a mom if it wasn't for you. You make my days more enjoyable... you make my "job" as mother much easier and I love and appreciate you very much.

Angeline is 3 months old

On Sunday Angeline turned 3 months old so I thought it was time for another photo shoot. The crown she is wearing actually comes from a Halloween costume but David was saying she looks like a princess in her pretty pink dress and he wanted her to wear it while I was taking her pictures. And so you have it... "Queen Angeline."

David's Birthday Party

On Saturday we celebrated David's 3rd Birthday with some of his friends. Antie Mandy came for a visit and helped us a lot with the party (yeah for aunties). I made a "Lightning McQueen" cake for David... which was a bit of a theme for the party. The weather was great and the food was great (if I do say so myself) so we all had a great time. David is almost 3 which is unbelievable!

Bear Creek Park

On Jonathan's last day off we visited Bear Creek Park. We had suck a nice time. There were so many great pictures... I could have posted 20 but I just picked a few. David had lots of fun with Daddy on the big playground. He liked the train too but he probably liked when the train ride was over best because he got to toot the whistle.
