Here we are at the Port Alberni Salmon Festival, September 2nd. Love this family picture only we must have caught the sun at the wrong angle.
Jonathan and David fishing for Bull-Heads at the Bull-Head Derby. Angeline was set to fish too but she was too nervous about climbing down the big rocks so David caught a fish for her.
David kept the biggest bull-head for himself and let his sister enter the smaller one and guess who won? Angeline's fish one a "hidden weight" prize. David felt a bit ripped off but Angeline will share and we decided it must have just been her lucky day after being pooped on by a seagull.
Everyone got their face painted and had fun in the bouncy castle... it was a great day... thank you Nana!

Oh how special....looks like you are having a great time on the Island....sorry Angie, that seagull was NOT nice...thanks for sharing your catch, David...so proud of you.
